That’s why I’m glad Assistance League of the Eastside is working to help the homeless, victims of assault and domestic violence, and kids in need, not only behind the scenes but also in public with its Operation School Bell program. I am a volunteer and plan to be one every year."

Kim Peterson, founder of Uniquely Savvy, will be the inspirational speaker as Assistance League of the Eastside presents Step Into Style: An Afternoon of Friends, Fashion and Philanthropy.

Darcy Camden, resident stylist for KING-5’s “New Day Northwest” and style consultant for Q-13 Fox News, will emcee the event.

Assault Survivor Kits is one of four philanthropic programs that will benefit from Assistance League of the Eastside's Step Into Style. 

In 2014-15, Assistance League of the Eastside distributed Assault Survivor Kits to 1,737 individuals at hospitals throughout Washington.
